The production lead will assist the supervisor/production manager in coordinating tasks of work based on production schedules and client demands. 

Responsibilities:

• Assigns workers to workstations to meet production requirements.
• Interprets process specifications for workers.
• Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary.
• Reports machine repairs to maintenance personnel.
• Confers with supervisor or production manager to receive instructions and exchange production information.
• Monitors quality to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Train employees on safety rules and policies and ensure they are followed.
• Assists in training production employees on work processes and production reporting.
• Monitor work areas for safety and take immediate action to correct any potential unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or relatable environment 
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing leadership
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. 
• Able to walk/stand for >8hrs 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• MUST demonstrate the desire and aptitude to take Extreme Ownership of their role
