US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls® for exterior building envelopes and facades. The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes by managing staff on the production floor and coordinating resources. Acknowledge other's successesOperational ResponsibilitiesPrioritize production for conventional and Amba departments: Use schedule from Materials Dept. to complete jobs on time, while communicating concerns with due datesSchedule required overtime: As neededWork with maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance: Daily. Communicate any changes that may occur due to production concernsIdentify and address any inefficiency in production: Utilize PPR report and communication sheets to identify and communicate any actions neededAssist Engineering Dept. with trial runs: As neededWork with Quality Dept. in resolving internal and external issues: DailyEnsure all labor transactions are entered correctly: Check PPR reports and labor entry database daily to ensure accuracy. Train and/or discipline employees as neededAdminister Strike Policy: Weekly, through the Quality Defects sheetComplete Layered Process Audits and ensure direct reports are completing theirs on time: Posted schedulePosition Requirements - Experience: 4+ years of comparable experience preferred Education: High School Diploma / GED equivalent Required Skills/Competencies: Respect for other employees.
