Key Responsibilities Lead the company’s accounting and finance function Develop members of the accounting team, promoting accountability and improvement. Provide the company’s executive leadership with clear, actionable financial insights for strategic decision‑making. Produce accurate, timely monthly and annual financial statements, including a monthly WIP entry with costs in excess and billings in excess balance sheet accounts. Create, refine, and document financial and operational processes that improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency. Strengthen internal controls, inventory accounting, and ERP data integrity. Develop and enhance cost accounting systems, job costing models, and margin analysis to support profitable growth. Drive organizational change by leading process improvements, standardization, and cross‑department collaboration. Participate in financial forecasting and budgeting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus). 2+ years of accounting experience (proficiency in QuickBooks a plus). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory systems, and job costing. Demonstrated ability to build/improve processes and lead organizational changes. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leadership and operational teams.
