Full Time Professional ELANY Office, New York, NY, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1006 Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually Location: New York, NY (Onsite | Hybrid) Category: Exempt Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the Chief Financial Officer across accounting, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. This role is a key contributor to the team and plays an important part in maintaining the organization’s financial health through accurate processing, reporting, and operational support. Key Responsibilities Accounting, Financial Operations Administration & HR Support Invoice processing & preparation of vendor payments. Identify and track expense allocations. Perform account reconciliations, including bank, investment, and American Express accounts. Process accounts receivable and support collections activities. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes & reports. Assist and support preparation of regulatory filings such as 1099s and Form 990. Support annual audit activities. Support budgeting & planning with forecasting of revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Payroll, Benefits & Cross-Functional Support Assist with reviewing biweekly payroll reports for accuracy and reconciliation. Track PTO usage and maintain payroll-related records in ADP. Assist with commuter, insurance, and benefit reimbursement tracking. Cross-train with HR on payroll and benefits processes as needed. Ad hoc: perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of financial analysis or accounting experience; nonprofit or association experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Excel; strong data analysis and modeling skills. Understanding of GAAP. Experience with accounting and payroll systems such as QuickBooks, ADP, or Power BI preferred. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
