HVAC Quality Control Technician

Frymire Home Services is looking to hire an experienced, detail-oriented Residential HVAC QC Technician to join our team.

Qualifications

5+ years of residential HVAC experience required Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices, diagnostics, airflow, and system performance Prior experience in quality control, field supervision, commissioning, or senior-level service/install work preferred EPA Certification required NATE and/or NCI Certifications preferred Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members Positive attitude and team-first mindset Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Must be able to safely access attics, crawlspaces, and tight work areas

What You Will Do

Perform quality control inspections on completed residential HVAC installs and service work Verify systems are installed properly and operating efficiently Check airflow, static pressure, refrigerant charge, and overall system performance Ensure work meets manufacturer specifications and local code requirements Identify workmanship issues and communicate corrective actions with install and service teams Complete system startups, final inspections, and documentation Deliver a strong customer experience throughout the process
