Our mission is to undertake projects spanning various industries, including Consumer and Manufacturing, Defence and Security, Energy and Utilities, Financial Services, Government and Public Services, Health and Life Sciences, and Transport. We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Digital & Data Hub and support Jacobs’ internal Data & AI projects. You will help shape and deliver data-driven and AI-powered solutions, working with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn user needs into clear requirements and valuable products.The role combines product ownership and business analysis, with a focus on Data & AI products, data-related initiatives, and dashboards.Responsibilities: Manage the lifecycle of Data & AI products, from discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, and deploymentDefine, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and scopes for data and AI featuresGather and document business needs through stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshopsTranslate business requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaUse the MoSCoW method to prioritize requirements and support the creation of mock-ups or prototypesWork with data scientists, engineers, and other specialists to shape solutions using platforms such as Palantir Foundry and Microsoft AzureSupport the development of dashboards and reporting solutions, including Power BIMonitor product performance, AI model metrics, and user feedback to identify improvementsResearch data and AI trends and opportunities relevant to the construction and engineering sectorsPrepare business cases for Data & AI initiatives, assessing costs, effort, and potential valueCoordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to support effective deliveryEngage with internal customers and stakeholders throughout product discovery and implementation Here's what you'll need Experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a related roleExperience working with data or contributing to data-related projectsExperience with Power BI or other dashboard and reporting solutionsExperience gathering requirements through stakeholder meetings, interviews, or workshopsExperience working directly with stakeholders, including presenting to senior audiencesUnderstanding of Agile practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, and the software development lifecycleStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsFluent EnglishAvailability for occasional online meetings in the late afternoon, typically between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PMBased in Kraków or the Kraków area, with the ability to work from the Kraków office at least two days per weekNice to have: Experience managing projects or coordinating project deliveryUnderstanding of data and AI technologies and their business applicationsExperience with data, AI, or machine learning productsAbility to explain technical concepts in terms of business valueEngineering background, particularly in the construction industryWe offer:Rewarding employment - full-time employment with a salary that matches your qualificationsHybrid work model - candidates are required to work from our Kraków office at least two days per week.
