Our challenge We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business/Data Analyst who excels in data analysis, database querying, and API analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, be a go-getter, and show a passion for leveraging data and technology to drive business insights and solutions. Experience with tools like Postman for API analysis and familiarity with AI tools for data interpretation is highly desirable. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $85k - $90k/year & benefits (see below).. The Role Responsibilities: Perform complex data analysis and database querying to extract, manipulate, and interpret data from various sources. Use tools such as Postman to analyze APIs, understand integration points, and troubleshoot issues. Write and maintain technical user stories and detailed documentation for project requirements and API specifications. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless API integrations and data flow. Utilize AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance data analysis, generate insights, and support decision-making. Identify business needs by engaging with stakeholders and translate them into actionable data solutions. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Support data-driven decision-making initiatives through rigorous analysis and presentation. Stay updated on emerging analytical tools, AI technologies, and best practices. Requirements: Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst. Strong database querying skills (SQL, NoSQL) and data manipulation proficiency. Hands-on experience with API analysis tools such as Postman. Proven ability to write detailed technical user stories and documentation. Familiarity with AI and data analysis tools (e.g., ChatGPT, data mining platforms, or similar). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and demonstrate a proactive, go-getter attitude.
