About the Role

This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit coordination. They must have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and the development of solutions to complex financial challenges, as well as a deep understanding of accounting systems, financial databases, and reporting tools. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a master’s degree preferred, and 10-15 years of progressive financial and management experience within a nonprofit organization. The role requires a strategic thinker with a collaborative leadership style, a high level of integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a mission-focused, person-centered environment. Key responsibilities include providing strategic financial planning, overseeing risk management, and ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations. The CFO will also be expected to develop financial models, and analyses, and present clear financial insights to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex funding and regulatory structures are essential.
