Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift 7:00AM – 7:00PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4:1 with cath recovery and up to 6:1 standard maximum ratio
• Monitor patients using remote telemetry monitoring systems and operate Alaris infusion pumps
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with PCTs and unit clerks to deliver high-quality patient care and strive for strong patient satisfaction outcomes
• Float to other units such as Ortho/Med-Surg as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Hands-on Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring systems and Alaris pumps
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation platform
• Prior experience with bedside paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
