Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Southeastern Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00); weekend rotation on a 6-week basis; floating required between acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab units; expected patient ratio 1:10

• Short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation and 104 staffed beds
• Regional hospital serving diverse patient diagnoses including multi-trauma, TBI, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, and MS patients
• Interdisciplinary team environment with Epic charting system
• Exposure to multiple care settings including ICU, medical-surgical, acute care, and 8-bed inpatient rehab facility
• Opportunity to work across the full continuum of care including occasional same-day surgery and emergency department consults
• Supportive, close-knit therapy team in a community hospital setting

Requirements:

• Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required (non-negotiable)
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience highly preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Skills in acute and chronic disorder assessment, functional activities, and treatment planning
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
• Flexibility to float between multiple units and adapt to varying patient needs
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
