Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license. Must maintain active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Adheres to organizational policies and unit standards. Functions within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice. May require float as a sitter and may float in rotation.
• Position Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit standards.
  • Develops, implements, and continually reassesses individual patient care plans.
  • Provides nursing care, including medication administration and treatments.
  • Evaluates discharge plans for appropriateness and patient's educational needs.
  • Documents care, assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
  • Collects patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care.
  • Conducts ongoing holistic assessments and responds appropriately.
  • Determines and executes nursing actions to meet care goals, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
  • Educates patients and families with relevant health information, sharing written materials as needed.
  • Maintains current knowledge of workflows, procedures, and evidence-based practices.
  • Delegates tasks to non-licensed assistive personnel appropriately.
  • Participates in performance improvement processes.
  • Collaborates effectively with healthcare team members.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment following hospital policies.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
