Financial Accounting Analyst

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accounting Analyst to join their finance team in Burlington, MA. This on-site, temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and accounts receivable. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with financial reporting and contract-related accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Manage and track contract-related financial information, labor costs, travel expenses, and other direct costs. Create and process purchase requests and purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors. Review and approve vendor invoices and expense reports. Assist with monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Prepare customer invoices and support Accounts Receivable activities. Process AR, AP, Daily Cash Reconciliation, Cash Receipts. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial transactions and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of Accounting and finance experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and credit check . Must be authorized to work in the United States.
