Registered Nurse RN

Role: Provide safe, direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, utilizing the nursing process across diverse age groups. Offer clinical leadership, mentorship, and serve as a role model for staff. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures while delivering comprehensive patient education to individuals and families. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions, set goals, and implement appropriate nursing actions. Administer medications, routine treatments, and assist with complex procedures. Support equipment maintenance, supply management, and documentation of patient data. Assist physicians with tests and treatments, and participate in emergency responses. Coordinate patient care with other departments and ensure accurate medical records. Mentor patients to promote self-management and empowerment. Provide educational guidance on preventive care and medical treatments. Uphold patient safety protocols, identify risks, and report safety concerns promptly. Participate in staff orientation, evaluation, and support a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Active RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement. CPR/BLS certification within 30 days. Experience in patient care; bilingual abilities in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are advantageous but not mandatory.
