Regional General Manager

Regional General Manager | Public Sector Technology & Managed Services We're conducting a confidential search on behalf of a global technology and managed services company for a Regional General Manager to lead one of its most strategically important markets. This is a senior executive role with full P&L ownership of a multi-hundred-million-dollar regional business, encompassing service delivery, operations, and commercial growth. You'll be the face of the business to some of the region's largest and most complex institutional and government clients — building the kind of trust that only comes from genuine operating discipline, clear communication, and follow-through. What we're looking for: Proven, direct P&L ownership of a large regional or business unit — not accountability within someone else's budget, but genuine authority over pricing, cost, and investment decisions A track record of managing complex, high-stakes relationships with government agencies, public institutions, or other demanding enterprise clients Experience running large, matrixed service delivery organizations — field operations, technical service, contact centers, or similar A history of stepping into strained or underperforming client relationships and rebuilding trust through consistency and transparency, not overpromising True general management instincts: setting strategy, empowering a team, and being accountable for outcomes across functions you don't always directly control Where you'll be based: Northeast US, with regular in-person presence expected with key stakeholders.
