Assistant Plan t Sales Manager  

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Directs the flow of information for sales activities and transactions (leads, billings, orders, contracts).   Plans production to ensure that all customer orders are covered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own order fulfillment and line efficiency for a poultry production plant  

• Create production schedule for poultry production plant twice daily ensuring customer needs

are met,   relative   to operational capabilities  

• Conduct daily   meeting   with sales and operations to review the schedule and inventory  

• Update sales forecast with   accurate   estimations for bird weight and head kill  

• Work closely with operations during the day to ensure schedule adherence and order

fulfillment  

• Reconcile Inventory   on a daily basis   to ensure no waste or spoilage  

• Advise the sales team on available to sell volumes  

• Prioritize key and strategic customers   

• Work with 6 partner plants to aid in order fulfillment  

• Spend time on the operational floor and understand the process flow of the plant  

 

What   You’ll   Need:  

• Education:   Bachelor Degree or similar field   preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu

of educational requirement;  

• Experience:  2-5 years of   directly related   experience preferred;  

• Skills:   Proficient in Microsoft Office;   Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task  

thorough understanding of poultry industry and bird cutouts, Intermediate skills    for

Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, problem solve/root cause analysis , k nowledge of SAP

a plus, s trong communication   and leadership skills, both written and verbal. Quick learner

o f   Company protocols/programs and adaptable to change. Solid math and analytical abilities for

p roblem-solving and decision-making. Reliable and ethical, with   a strong   work ethic and

pu nctuality. Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to thrive in fast-paced environments.

• Base salary   range of  65,000.00+ ;  

• Discretionary Bonus:   This position is eligible to   participate   in the Company’s   yearly bonus plan,

the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive p rogram;
