Unit Information The Labor & Delivery Unit provides comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum. The department includes: ? 14 Labor & Delivery rooms ? OB Triage Unit ? OB Operating Rooms ? OB PACU Frederick Health recently expanded with five brand-new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring state-of-the-art equipment and modern technology. Every space is designed with comfort, safety, and family-centered care in mind to create an exceptional birthing experience.
