Position Overview Lead the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality patient outcomes and cultural sensitivity. Key Responsibilities Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care. Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patients, families, and disciplines. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal) and serve as a leader on the interdisciplinary team. Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes. Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale. Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, including privacy respect, proper introductions, and tailored communication. Perform other related duties as required. Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Certifications & Licensure Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Physical & Environmental Demands Job demands may include handling objects weighing between 10 and 100 pounds, frequently involving lifting, pushing, or pulling. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid, tissue, and communicable diseases. Occupational hazards may involve hazardous medications or waste.
