Growth Equity Interview Guide
Ares Management is looking for a Principal in Alternative Credit to join their team in New York. This role involves sourcing and developing investment opportunities while building strong relationships in the private markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment banking or similar fields and will play a key role in enhancing the firm’s origination engine.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and advisors
- Negotiate and manage deal origination processes
- Develop strategic partnerships for investment
- Coordinate branding and business development initiatives
What You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent required
- 10-15+ years of experience in investment firms or banks
- Strong analytical skills in finance and accounting
- Understanding of loan and transaction documentation
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Proven networking abilities
