Job Summary
Seeking a professional, detail-oriented Manufacturing Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and organizational support to all areas of a startup U.S. manufacturing operation.  Primarily This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, enjoys keeping things organized, and can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Direct Hire Position

Salary: $40 - $50K

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the manufacturing/production team
• Enter, update, and maintain production, inventory, shipping, or other operational records
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, work orders, forms, and other documentation
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and tracking production activities
• Communicate with production employees, supervisors, vendors, customers, and other departments
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, shipping/receiving, or order-related paperwork as needed
• Monitor and organize paperwork to ensure information is accurate and up to date
• Enter data into company systems and maintain electronic and paper files
• Help identify missing information or discrepancies and follow up as needed
• Perform general office and administrative duties to support the manufacturing operation

International Trade & Procurement Support

• Assist with international trade documentation and administrative processes.
• Support communication with suppliers, logistics providers, and business partners.
• Help coordinate purchasing activities and vendor communications.
• Maintain accurate records related to shipments, orders, and procurement activities.
• Support compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing administrative, clerical, or office support experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Exposure to international business, import/export operations, & or supply chain processes preferred.
