Treasury Advisor, Capital Markets and Financial Risk

Ideal candidate will be based in Ohio with the ability to come into the Dublin, OH office monthly and quarterly!What Treasury contributes to Cardinal HealthFinance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.Treasury develops, recommends, and executes financial policy with a focus on corporate finance, capital markets, financial risk, and global treasury operations. This job family sets an appropriate capital structure, ensuring that at all times the company has the liquidity to meet its obligations and fund strategic initiatives. Treasury also identifies and manages risks that could erode financial strength.ResponsibilitiesSupport FX risk management programs through exposure identification, hedging strategy development, trade execution, and position reportingSupport the company’s interest rate hedging programs through development and implementation of various hedging strategiesMonitor market research related to macro-economic, central bank policy, and other market driving trends to keep senior management informedAssess global financial market conditions and assist in the development and execution of corporate funding plans and associated risk management strategiesPrepare reporting and calculations for liquidity, debt, cost of capital, derivatives portfolio, FX, counterparty exposures, settlements, etc.Provide support for debt and derivatives financial disclosuresParticipate in the company’s defined benefit and defined contribution retirement planning including participation in governance committees and plan oversight with asset managers, investment consultants, actuaries, custodians, other advisorsDevelop and implement treasury operations best practices and help identify areas of improvement/provide recommendations to managementSupport capital structure planning and analysis through financial modeling and scenario analysisAssist in the development and execution of strategies pursuant to the Company’s share repurchase programAssist in the management of relationships with global banking and financial product suppliersMaintain and develop the risk module of the TMSSupport other Treasury and cross-functional projects as neededQualifications Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred2-3 years of corporate finance, banking, or public accounting experience preferredRelated professional designation (CFA, CTP, etc.) or MBA preferredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Macros, Data consolidation etc.) and PowerPointPrevious experience with a Treasury Management System (e.g. Kyriba, SAP, etc.) preferredExperience with SAP (or its analogues) and Hyperion Financial Management preferredPrevious experience with FXall preferredPrevious experience with Bloomberg preferredData visualization and data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau/Alteryx, RStudio/Python) preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiencesStrong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple competing prioritiesHigh motivation, attention to detail, and demonstrated interest in global financeAdvanced data analytics capabilities and/or experience with automation through financial technology helpfulAnticipated salary range: $82,100-$128,920Bonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 10/26/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
