Injection Molding Process SpecialistJoin our manufacturing team as the point person for end-to-end injection molding operations. From first shot to final inspection, you’ll keep tools running, parts conforming, and schedules on track.What you’ll doOwn the complete injection molding process: machine set-up, start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting, equipment care, and workflow control.Direct the production schedule and execute timely mold and/or material changeovers; pursue cycle time reductions where feasible.Diagnose process issues, adjust tooling and material settings, conduct part inspections, and drive product conformity and quality.Collaborate with Engineering on current and new molds, supporting alternate material trials and new product sampling.Verify and maintain required documentation: start-up and in-process product inspection sheets, process monitoring logs, and changeover checklists.Stage and configure auxiliary/support equipment as needed: circulators, grinders, thermolators, hot runner controllers, material dryers, material loaders, and more.Pitch in with additional duties consistent with the role’s scope.What you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent plus five (5) years of relevant experience.Hands-on experience setting up and operating injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment, including robots.Proven skill in troubleshooting processes, making minor repairs, ensuring quality control, and maintaining high machine uptime.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).Competence using measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and Acu-Gauge.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Master Molder certification preferred.Work environment and physical demandsThis role may involve exposure to radio frequencies that can be hazardous to individuals with a pacemaker—consult your physician. You may regularly stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. You may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Vision demands include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, plus the ability to adjust focus.
