About the Position

Location: Austin, Texas

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. No on-call requirements. Every other weekend rotation. Patient ratio typically 6:1, with potential for 5:1 assignments.

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with opportunity to work in a well-established 34-bed ortho/trauma telemetry unit
• Gain experience with complex patient populations including wound vac management, external fixation, CPM machines, and specialized bracing
• Utilize MediTech EMR and GE Telemetry Monitoring systems along with Welch Allyn vital signs equipment

• Work alongside an experienced night shift team including 1 charge nurse, 6 nurses, and 2 patient care technicians
• No on-call requirements – predictable work-life balance

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas (or compact state license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Med/Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
