Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Team oriented and compassionate Description: The unit has 12 beds. Patient ratios range from 5-6:1. One Patient Care Technician is available for staffing support. General Med-surg equipment is utilized on the unit. Documentation is done using Meditech. Scheduling includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Floating policy applies as per facility guidelines. Patient experience requirements are set at 75%. The hiring profile requests specific med-surg skills. Advanced skill sets and procedures performed vary. Navy scrubs are the required uniform. Unit-specific policies and guidelines apply. This is a brand new unit within the facility.
