Our providers coordinate patients’ care and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team – including physicians, advanced practice providers, care navigators, pharmacists, dieticians, and social workers – to address both immediate and long-term patient needs.\nUpperline serves patients nationwide, in clinics and at home, delivering expert care in chronic condition management, podiatry, vascular, endocrinology, wound care, primary care, and more.\nAs we continue to expand, we remain committed to making high-quality, coordinated care more accessible and effective—while creating opportunities for our team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the patients we serve.\nABOUT THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR ROLE \nLead, coach and care for patients in a team-based model that puts the patient first.\nUpperline Health is seeking a Medical Director for the Baltimore, MD market to advance clinical excellence, strengthen provider engagement and lead clinical value-based care across the market.\nThis role combines patient care, clinical leadership, and VBC program management and partners closely with the central interdisciplinary team, population health and operations teams.\nPrimary home clinic: Columbia, Cockeysville, or Bel Air MD\nRequired Experience and Skills\n\n Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)\n Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, PreventiveMedicine, or Geriatrics\n Active license in Maryland and willing to pursue multi-state licensure if needed\n ~ 2 years of outpatient practice experience, inclusive of caring for adult / senior patients with complex conditions.\n Experience coaching or mentoring other clinicians\n Must reside in market; be willing and able to provide direct care to a small panel of patients and routinely visit clinics and providers within the market\n\nPreferred Experience and Skills\n\n Experience with value-based care, quality improvement, or clinical protocols preferred\n\nCompensation and Benefits\n\n Compensation is commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region and based on prior training and experience\n Comprehensive benefit options include medical, dental and vision, 401K, PTO, and parental leave\n Medical malpractice, licensure, and boards dues paid annually\n CME expense allotment\n Career growth, training and development with an opportunity for impactful leadership\n\n\nJob Type: Full-time
