If you're looking for a firm with a strong team connection where you can be your whole self, have an impact, advance your skills, deepen your experiences, and have the flexibility and access to constantly find new areas of inspiration and expand your capabilities, then consider a career in Advisory.Responsibilities:Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes including controls related to federal entitiesReview and evaluate federal financial business processes and financial statementsResearch, interpret, review the impact of Federal standards, policies, and regulations on financial operationsReview draft deliverables prepared by engagement teams and present final results to managementLead walkthroughs, document current & future state of financial management functions, execute change management efforts related to finance transformation, support development of financial strategies, and create / execute training materialsDevelop tools and execute process mapping, visualization, and data analysis activitiesQualifications:A minimum of five years of federal financial management / transformation experienceBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA / CGFM / CDFM certifications preferredExperience / knowledge is the areas of Federal financial management & controls, federal financial reporting, federal budgeting, financial audits, or audit readinessExperience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMBAbility to travel as required to support firm engagementsApplicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearanceKPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
