Responsibilities:Review developed tools and outputs for process mapping, visualization, and data analysis and communicate to senior level clientsIdentify key stakeholders, organizational improvement in financial management & operations, process workflow, and roles & responsibilitiesOversee the review of root-cause analysis activities, validate corrective actions, link like-kind issues, create and communicate roadmaps, identify dependencies and risks to senior stakeholders and execute formal project management activitiesManage the identification of key stakeholders and opportunities for organizational improvements in financial management & operationsResearch, interpret, review and communicate the impact of Federal standards, policies, and regulations on financial operationsIdentify opportunities for improvement or growth, develop target operating model strategies for process improvement or reengineering, guide mid to large sized teams in the execution of strategies and transformation efforts, execute agile project management capabilities and communicate strategy and status to senior level clientsQualifications:A minimum of eight years of federal financial management experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; CPA / CISA / PMP / CGFM / CDFM / CFE / LSS certifications preferredExperience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMBExperience in leading project engagements, staff development, internal financial controls, business process analysis, and financial business systemsStrong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading financial practicesAbility to travel as required to support firm engagementsApplicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearanceKPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
