Paraprofessional – K-12 | Detroit, MI
We are currently hiring multiple Paraprofessionals to support students in K-12 schools throughout Detroit, MI . This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with students and want to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.
Position Details
Location: Detroit, MI
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Grade Levels: K-12
Student Population: Special Education
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to special education students throughout the school day
Assist teachers and school staff with student needs and classroom activities
Help facilitate telehealth services within the school
Support students during virtual sessions and ensure they are able to participate successfully
Assist with basic technology setup and troubleshooting as needed
Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Previous paraprofessional experience preferred
General comfort with technology and virtual/telehealth platforms
No need to be a technology expert—just a willingness and ability to learn
Experience working with children or students, particularly in special education, is a plus
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
