Hiring Paraprofessional Facilitator – 2026–2027 School Year
Location: Detroit, MI
Contract Position
Bilingual Therapies is seeking a reliable and dedicated Paraprofessional Facilitator for a full-time contract position supporting K–12 students within a school-based special education environment in Detroit, Michigan. This role is responsible for helping students successfully participate in virtual therapy sessions and providing in-person support throughout the school day.

2026–2027 School Year
Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Caseload: K–12 students
Preference: Candidates may indicate their preferred grade level
Setting: School-based
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Comfortable supporting students within Special Education
Reliable transportation required
Comfortable working with computers and able to perform basic troubleshooting
Ability to communicate effectively with students, therapists, and school staff
Responsibilities:
Escort students to and from scheduled virtual therapy sessions
Prepare technology and materials and assist students with connecting to their teletherapist
Remain present during sessions to support student attention, participation, and appropriate behavior
Follow the teletherapist’s direction and recommendations
Communicate attendance, scheduling, technology, or student-related concerns to the appropriate team
Complete all DPSCD clearance requirements, including district fingerprinting and required facilitator training
