Location: Hybrid opportunity with openings in Topsfield, MA and Doxbury, MA.

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant estate planning paralegal experience and direct WealthCounsel drafting experience. Experience with MAPTs, Special Needs Trusts, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and trust administration is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Draft sophisticated estate planning documents using WealthCounsel, including revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, trust amendments and restatements, and irrevocable trusts.
• Draft and support Massachusetts Asset Protection Trusts (MAPTs) and first-party and third-party Special Needs Trusts.
• Prepare trust funding documents, real estate deeds, and related estate planning materials.
• Assist with trust and probate administration matters.
• Manage multiple estate planning files, deadlines, and priorities from engagement through signing.
• Coordinate workflow between attorneys, legal assistants, and clients to keep matters moving efficiently.
• Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with attorney recommendations.
• Identify potential issues proactively and help resolve them before they become problems.
• Maintain organized and accurate client records while delivering a high level of document quality and client service.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with the broader legal team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estate planning paralegal experience.
• Direct WealthCounsel drafting experience.
• Experience with estate planning trusts and related documents.
• Experience with Massachusetts estate planning concepts.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage files, deadlines, and competing priorities independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with trust and probate administration preferred.
• MAPT and Special Needs Trust drafting experience preferred.
• Experience with Zoho CRM, deed preparation/recording, or Notary Public duties is a plus.
