As a Dining Services Cook, you'll prepare fresh, high-quality meals, support daily kitchen operations and ensure residents receive delicious food served with warmth and hospitality. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a large, fast-paced kitchen and finds purpose in serving others.

What You'll Do:
- prepare ingredients and cook meals according to menu standards and dietary requirements
- follow established recipes, portion guidelines, quality expectations, and presentation standards
- support meal service by coordinating with dietary staff and ensuring timely, accurate plating
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work area
- follow all sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures
- monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
- assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and closing duties as needed
- contribute to a positive, resident-focused dining experience every shift
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- 1+ year of experience as a cook or in a similar food service role
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for portioning and recipe adjustments
- ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently
- must be able to work a rotating weekend schedule
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
