Social Media Assistant (Student Associate) - A&F Campus Services Marketing

Primary Duties Under the direction of the Marketing Staff, provide promotional & marketing support via Social Media for the Campus Services Marketing Department (Housing & Food Services, Campus Recreation, MainStreet Operations & Programming, the Bearcat Card, UC Bookstores, other campus auxiliaries and student groups). Content management and design management for graphic posts Interviewing students on MainStreet for TikTok and reels Starring in Instagram reels and TikTok videos Editing TikTok and Reels for posting Coming up with social media campaign ideas Posting on Instagram, including carousel posts, stories, and reels Helping with campaign tasks such as tabling on MainStreet, creating polls/surveys, button pins, magnets, keychains, etc. Providing content generation, proofreading, editing, editing websites on the faculty/staff intranet, Bearcats Landing, Adobe Experience Manager, and creating forms for internal and website use Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school Enrolled at least part‑time (one or more credit hours if at a post‑secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term Must be at least 16 years of age “Enrollment” shall include: The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled The one “off” term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment Must be proficient in Instagram, TikTok, & Microsoft Office and systems management Must be outgoing and have good interviewing skills UC is an E‑Verify employer.
