Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt geautomatiseerde implementatiescripts waarmee complete werkplekken, kassa’s, handhelds, scanners, switches en access points volledig voorbereid worden, van OS en drivers tot klantconfiguraties. Je zorgt voor een schaalbare en reproduceerbare deploymentomgeving, zodat nieuwe hardware en software bij retailklanten foutloos en efficiënt kan worden uitgerold. Je analyseert en verhelpt derdelijns incidenten binnen complexe beheeromgevingen, waarbij je zowel hardwarestoringen als softwarematige issues oplost. Je onderhoudt technische contacten met leveranciers over firmware, drivers, OS-updates en nieuwe hardwaremodellen, en bewaakt de kwaliteit van alles wat uitgerold moet worden. Je adviseert klanten en interne teams over de inrichting van retail-IT-omgevingen, zowel centraal als in filialen, en helpt bij het valideren en testen van nieuwe apparatuur. Je werkt samen met andere System Engineers om standaarden, tools en automatisatie te verbeteren, zodat de retailoperatie van duizenden gebruikers blijft draaien.
