Surgical Technologist ENDO (Endoscopy)

Key Responsibilities:

• Sterilize instruments and prepare endoscopy suites for procedures such as colonoscopies or upper GI endoscopies.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments or operating specialized endoscopic equipment as needed.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure to prevent infections.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to ensure smooth operations during procedures.
• Document procedure details accurately and maintain compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.

Work Environment:

• The role is primarily based in hospital endoscopy units or outpatient surgical centers equipped for minimally invasive procedures.
