Calibration Engineer

Description:

• Calibration of engine controls for North America and global markets
• Complete engine calibration in accordance with procedures to meet regulations and other performance targets (emission, fuel economy, power, drivability and OBD)
• Prepare and manage calibration and resource schedule to meet development deadlines
• Test preparation, data collection, data analysis, and technical report creation on a regular basis
• Build successful relationships with calibration technician group
• Conduct vehicle testing and development under extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, high altitude)
• Complete required internal training necessary for job execution (Technical, Driving, etc.)Perform software logic and value confirmation activities

Requirements

• :A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical or other related Engineering disciplin
• eExperience in engine calibration (1+ years
• )Excellent driving recor
• dThorough understanding of internal combustion engine theory/practic
• eProficiency in MS Offic
• eExperience investigating technical issues and creating effective technical solution
• sEmission, bench, drivability or OBD calibration experience in conventional and/or hybrid powertrai
• nExperience calibrating engine controls for markets other than the US (Japan, Europe, China, etc.
• )Experience with Model-Based Design or Calibration processe
• sExperience with other programming languages such as Python, VBA, etc
• .Proficiency in project management tool
• sProficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/C/C++ programming language
• sExperience working in a culturally diverse environmen
• tUnderstanding of Emission and OBD regulations for US and other market
