Night Auditor Responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work and may oversee all Front Office functions on the third shift. Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily. Balance the day’s work (i.e., movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, servers and desk agent’s paperwork, etc.). Generate reports required for Food and Beverage audit. Maintain proper record keeping. Complete initial direct bills and attach folio/banquet check backup. Handle guest requests during the third shift. Essential Job Functions Guest Services: Promptly greet guests in a friendly and professional manner; complete guest registration, issue keys, and provide resort information and area attractions. Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions and balance all cash receipts. Perform bucket checks, post guest charges, complete cashier and other reports, prepare deposit, and secure bank. Complete check‑out procedures. Book reservations for individuals and groups. Verify departure folios, ensure cash sheets totals are accurate, and post them correctly. Close and reset credit card system, update no‑shows, run final night audit and associated reports. Interact with site accounting regarding all daily transactions. Customer Relationship: Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle guest issues to resolution, recommend service recovery, and, if needed, elevate to management. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with departments. Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal audit, quality assurance, loss prevention, resort operating procedures, Guest Service Department Operating Procedure, and standard operating procedures. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent; accounting education preferred. Experience: 1 year of front desk experience in a hospitality/hotel environment or 1 year of customer service experience in a service or retail environment, and 1 year of accounting experience. Knowledge & Skills: Organizational skills; excellent communication; ability to read and understand routine instructions, memos, and short correspondence. High priority customer service; problem solving with minimal guidance; proficiency in English. Basic office skills including math and proper cash handling procedures. Professional appearance, positive attitude, multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment. People oriented, ability to work independently or with others. Technical Skills: PC skills, accounting systems knowledge, ability to use fax, copier, printer. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Front office accounting knowledge a plus.
