Admissions & Community Outreach Assistant – Entry Level

Are you outgoing, organized, and looking for an opportunity to build a career in healthcare? We are looking for an Admissions & Community Outreach Assistant to join our growing Business Development team!

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, being out in the community, and building relationships . No skilled nursing or admissions experience is required — we will train the right person!

You’ll work alongside experienced Business Development Liaisons, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare admissions, hospital and referral relationships, community outreach, marketing, and business development . If you’re motivated to learn and grow, this role can be your first step toward advancement into a Business Development Liaison or Admissions Coordinator position.

Job Duties:

• Accompany Business Development Liaisons on hospital and referral source visits.

• Assist with community outreach and relationship-building efforts.

• Help coordinate and attend health fairs, community events, educational seminars, networking events, and other outreach activities .

• Prepare marketing materials, promotional items, and event displays.

• Deliver marketing materials and educational resources to hospitals, physician offices, community partners, and other referral sources.

• Professionally represents the organization throughout the community.

• Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining outreach calendars.

• Support the Business Development and Central Admissions teams with special projects.

• Learn the skilled nursing admissions and referral process.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, healthcare, sales, or marketing is a plus, but not required .

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.

• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

• Comfortable meeting new people and building professional relationships.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Willingness to travel locally for hospital visits, community outreach, and events.

• Professional appearance and presentation.
