Specialised Part-Time Consulting Opportunity

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are actively seeking or have recently sought post-college employment and can provide thoughtful, structured evaluation of professional documents and work products.

This role focuses on reviewing and assessing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and related materials for quality, accuracy, relevance, and usability. Selected contributors will apply their educational and professional experience alongside familiarity with contemporary job-search and early-career workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Document Review & Evaluation

• Review professional documents for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and relevance
• Assess whether information is logically organised and appropriately presented
• Identify inconsistencies, omissions, unclear reasoning, or quality issues
• Evaluate materials against defined project guidelines
• Apply practical judgement across varied document-review assignments

Early-Career & Job-Seeker Perspective

• Evaluate materials from the perspective of a recent graduate or active job seeker
• Apply familiarity with contemporary graduate and early-career employment processes
• Review content for clarity, practicality, and relevance to intended audiences
• Identify areas where information may be incomplete, confusing, or difficult to use
• Provide feedback grounded in recent experience navigating professional opportunities

Spreadsheet Review

• Review Excel workbooks and spreadsheet-based materials
• Assess tables, calculations, formatting, and supporting information
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or obvious errors
• Evaluate spreadsheet organisation and readability
• Ensure quantitative information is communicated clearly

Presentation Review

• Review PowerPoint presentations for structure, accuracy, and professional quality
• Assess slide organisation, readability, and information hierarchy
• Identify inconsistencies or presentation issues
• Evaluate whether supporting information is communicated effectively
• Review materials for clarity and relevance to their intended purpose

Written Materials

• Review documents created in Microsoft Word
• Assess written content for organisation, completeness, and clarity
• Identify inconsistencies or missing information
• Evaluate whether documents follow structured requirements
• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the review process

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

• Assess assigned work products against defined quality standards
• Identify substantive content, analytical, and presentation issues
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable written feedback
• Support evaluation decisions with logical reasoning
• Apply review criteria consistently across assignments

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Recent graduate or early-career professional who is actively or recently engaged in a post-college job search
• At least 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant domain
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Strong document-analysis and review capabilities
• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Comfortable working across varied professional subject areas
• Able to work independently and provide precise, structured feedback

Engagement Details

• Part-time independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Applicants must be based in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, or Canada
• Compensation: $70$150/hour
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
• Work focuses on document review, quality evaluation, and structured feedback
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
