Step into a fulfilling contract position working 1:1 as a paraprofessional supporting a student for the duration of a maternity leave, with the potential for extension. The role begins as soon as possible and is currently expected to continue through December 22, 2026.

Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued
- Active paraprofessional or related credential (credentialed candidates will be given priority)
- Ability to build supportive, trusting relationships with students
- Skill in adapting quickly to the needs of individual students
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and school staff
- Compassion, patience, and a team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student throughout the school day
- Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and daily routines
- Encourage student's participation and academic engagement
- Help maintain a safe, positive learning environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to best meet the student's needs
- Offer additional assistance as directed by educators and specialists
