General Manager

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for managing all aspects of the operations, financial performance, tenant relations, and strategic direction of Pearlridge Center, a new, premier lifestyle destination scheduled to open in Summer 2027. This position is onsite and will commence prior to the property's official opening, playing a critical role in pre-opening planning, operational readiness, tenant coordination, staffing, and implementation of property systems and standards. The General Manager serves as the primary on-site contact for the Owner, ensuring that business objectives are met while maintaining and enhancing the long-term value of the asset. The GM provides oversight and is directly involved in all core property functions, including operations, marketing, specialty leasing, administration, facilities/maintenance, vendor management, and financial reporting. The Marketing Manager, Specialty Leasing, Administrative support, and on-site maintenance personnel will report directly to the General Manager. Success in this role requires a highly organized and results-driven leader with strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to guide a complex retail asset from pre-opening through stabilization and ongoing performance.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Certificates and Licenses

• Real estate license required.
• CPM, CSM, or CRRP professional designation or candidacy preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to provide efficient, timely, dependable, and courteous service to customers.
• Ability to effectively present information.

Financial Knowledge

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
• Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Decision-making with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.

Safety:

• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work. This includes but is not limited to:
• Complete all required and assign HSE training at a satisfactory level,
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all HSE-related requirements at all times,
• Participate in all HSE-related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
• Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stop work if required.

As a manager:

• While adhering to all HSE requirements established for CBRE employees, supervisors and managers are additionally required to:
• Provide sufficient distraction-free time for employees to complete all required HSE training and support the HSE training program implicitly,
• Investigate and resolve (if possible) all reported unsafe conditions / acts and communicate results back to the affected stakeholders,
• Support "stop work" authority when it is exercised in good faith.
• Communicate any / all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the General Manager position is $190,000 annually and the maximum salary for the General Manager position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
