General Maintenance Engineer

General Maintenance Engineer A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front‑of‑house areas. Guest room and public area entry‑level preventative maintenance are included. This role also maintains the interior and exterior appearance of the hotel through painting, wall covering, and surface preparation to support the overall guest experience. A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. Good customer service skills are also required. Perform interior and exterior painting, including guestrooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming prior to painting. Repair drywall, plaster, and minor wall damage as needed. Match paint colors and finishes according to hotel standards. Safely operate painting tools and equipment, including ladders and lifts. Maintain inventory of paint supplies and materials. Open availability for PM shifts and 1‑2 overnight shifts.
