Tax Accountant
We are partnering with a well-established public accounting firm seeking a Tax Accountant with 35 years of public accounting experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working with privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals while building a long-term career in a collaborative environment.
This position offers the flexibility of working remotely for qualified candidates, along with exposure to a wide variety of tax planning, compliance, and advisory engagements.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and individuals
Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
Research tax issues and assist with tax planning and consulting projects
Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings
Collaborate with partners and senior staff on client engagements and advisory initiatives
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Assist with special tax projects and client consulting engagements
Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
