What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activity across the location to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
Assist with incident reporting, directional support, and general assistance requests, helping to promote an orderly environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
