Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Overview: The

Mercy Center for Performance Medicine Outpatient Surgery Center

provides state-of-the-art surgical care for patients across a wide range of specialties. The center features

10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms, and 1 cystoscopy suite , making it one of the largest outpatient surgery centers in the United States. Each space is equipped with the latest advanced technology to support high-quality patient care.

Surgical specialties offered include

orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, and general surgery , ensuring comprehensive treatment options for diverse patient needs.

In addition to its operating rooms, the center includes a fully integrated surgical support environment with its own

pre- and post-operative areas, PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit), 23-hour observation unit, sterile processing department (SPD), and supply chain services .

Team members at the center benefit from an exceptional work-life balance, with

no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements , creating a supportive and highly desirable work environment. Qualifications: Required Education:
