They have a complete understanding of how our guitars are assembled according to our internal specifications. They also have a thorough understanding of signal flow as it pertains to a variety of vintage and modern pickup configurations.Essential FunctionsThe installation of guitar hardware and electronics.Ensuring that each guitar is built according to the correct internal design specifications.Monitoring the flow of guitars, parts, and other materials throughout the department and facility.Cleaning fully built guitars such that they are pristine and free of any residue or cosmetic blemishes.Packing completed guitars and transferring them into the distribution center.Maintaining a safe and clean workspace consistent with our 5S standards.Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety RulesObligation to submit Safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR codeSupport the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processesOther duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesPrevious experience working with hand, power, or pneumatic tools.Previous experience working on guitars greatly preferred.Strong attention to detail.Teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team.Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner.Required Education and ExperienceResults oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.Must be 18 years of age or older.Essential KnowledgeExcellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Personal QualitiesPassionate about working and winning in a team environment.Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to planFlexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
