The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by preparing patients for examinations, recording vital signs, and managing medical documentation. This position ensures efficient clinic operations through appointment scheduling, medical records management, and inventory oversight, contributing to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for medical examinations
- Measure and record vital signs
- Document patients’ medical history accurately
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Manage and maintain medical records
- Oversee inventory of medical supplies
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in medical assisting
- Certification in Medical Assisting
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong patient communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Effective time management abilities
