Medical Assistant – Float Pool

• Pay Rate: $28/hour

• Location: Lakebay & Parkland, WA (floating to other locations as needed)

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Start Date: 2-3 weeks from offer

Key Responsibilities & Environment

• Support a provider largely between the Lakebay and Parkland locations

• Expected schedule includes 1-2 days per week in Lakebay and approximately 2 days per week in Parkland

• Provide care and support for pediatric patients ranging from infants through adolescents

• Work in a fast-paced pediatric clinic environment

• Float to additional clinics as needed

• Adapt to different providers, clinic workflows, and patient populations

Requirements

• Active Washington State Medical Assistant license required

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience

• Flexibility to travel between multiple clinic locations

• Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working with pediatric patients of all ages

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Good telephone communication skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Knowledge of medical procedures

• Knowledge of clerical functions

• Current CPR card (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred

• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.

• Relevant certification/ license if applicable.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
