Job Summary
As an integral member of the clinic team, you will perform patient care within the scope of your certification, assist with treatments and procedures, and facilitate patient flow. You will prepare patients for exams, administer immunizations under provider supervision, and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health systems. Your role also includes coordinating referrals, managing exam room supplies, and upholding infection control standards.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduation from an accredited certified medical assistant program.
Experience and Certifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
Requirements and Skills
Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and scope of practice.
Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently with sound judgment.

Work Environment
