Manage all phases of litigation from inception to disposition, including drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial preparations, trial, post-trial and appeal work. 2. Conduct thorough and detailed discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing clients for depositions, and conducting and defending depositions. 3. Actively participate in the development and execution of litigation strategies, and prepare dispositive motions and briefs in a variety of complex litigation matters. 4. Handle property insurance litigation cases, including thorough investigation, negotiation, settlement, and trial preparation. 5. Work on antitrust cases, including research, analysis, and preparation of legal documents. 6. Engage in subrogation matters, with a focus on identifying and pursuing recovery opportunities. 7. Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, ensuring their legal rights are protected and that they are fully informed about their legal options. 8. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest developments in law and in the legal industry. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the New York State Bar and good standing with the NY Bar. 3. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in litigation, with interest in property insurance litigation, antitrust, and subrogation. 4. Proven experience with discovery, dispositive motions, and depositions. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of complex information. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal strategies and concepts clearly and persuasively. 7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members. 8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. 9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
