Principal Project Manager (Digital) - Shockwave Medical

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Principal Project Manager (Digital) for Shockwave Medical in Santa Clara, CA to lead digital transformation initiatives. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, overseeing enterprise system implementations, and driving multiple concurrent projects from concept through value realization.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional digital transformation projects aligned with company process excellence and QMS standards
- Lead multiple parallel workstreams from business problem definition through value realization measurement
- Develop and deliver project dashboards, reports, and executive communications on progress and risks
- Oversee enterprise system implementation phases and track team progress with detailed status updates
- Mentor project managers and create systematic tools to improve digital project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years digital project management experience; 5+ years in medical device industry
- 5+ years leading medical device enterprise software with Quality Management Systems knowledge
- 5+ years managing enterprise system implementation teams or vendors
- Project management certification or formal training highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under competing deadlines
- Proven leadership navigating matrixed organizations and complex stakeholder environments
