Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent
• ASCP certified MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1900
• Assignment setting: free-standing ER lab
• Position focus: point of care testing
• Additional duties include clerical support as assigned by nursing and lab leadership in support of operations
